The background image for your blog is appropriate for a music magazine blog. I'd like you to focus on choosing appropriate and imaginative fonts for your headings etc. You begin to show awareness of layout and conventions in your magazine. Be careful with your layering and try to choose a range of appropriate fonts.
Hey marnia, i do like what you have done with the colours and kept them in co-ordination so there is a scheme going on. Your image of the school is great but if had a medium shot of a students looking at there reader would be more attractive. I would aslo say think aboutthe use of how much text on the front page because its not that much following the conventions- so a bit less text with your little pargraph. But Well done overall, i do like the layout and that you have kept everything in a straight margin. :)
I like your magazine cover: the masthead, the photographs and the choice of the colors. They attract a lot the reader. I like also the insertion of the logo and the informations about school: it's very original!
